Its EasyPort mount device enables us to get the best position of navigation screen. With all power port and plugs no longer put in the bottom, you will be able to get the lowest position of your GPS. The mount is sturdier and very accessible because it can be turned and snapped easily to any position. TomTom also highlights excellent navigation technology in its newly launched TomTom 740 LIVE. Just like the previous Go editions, 730 LIVE is also supported with voice recognition feature. It takes the technology of GO editions to a new level. It is more accurate and more elaborated, recognizing over 131 commands and also maintain to recognize a command within just one command action.
TomTom 740 LIVE is smarter in the way it gives better navigation. It covers more intersection navigation than any other navigator tools in the market thanks to its highlighted feature called “Active Lane Guidance”. The user interface is also look more sophisticated than the previous TomTom lines. Icons are made more high end and easy to operate.
The weakness of this device is that it is not fast in routing as other TomTom devices. You need to wait for counple seconds to get your ro8ute calculated due to the more elaborate graphic performance. It should not matter if you give a more time for your device to work because as soon as it works you will get the most efficient routing with this device. You can also have additional features in this device, such as weather reports, gas fuel station process, TomTom buddies, and also missing live services. TomTom 720 LIVE is not a cheap device, especially with its connected supports. If you think that you don’t need the feature in this device you might want to look for other options. But if you are interested with the connected supports that it offers and also the features such as voice recognition on this device, you can get it for $130-$379.
